Thanks again and keep the rods coming!
Thank you for the Blackrock / Old School Guys 8ft live bait stick I won on the Royal Polaris 5 day trip raffle. I did not use the rod much at the beginning of the trip, but by the end I am telling you straight up it was the only rod I used and helped me double my fish count in a short amount of time.
Casting and flyling with the rod was effortless and was able to cast the
bait out into a zone past the other anglers. Needless to say the bites came
quicker.
Now I am planning to incorporate Blackrock / Old School Guys sticks into all my live bait flylining applications.
Thanks again and keep the rods coming.

Channel Islands Fishing Report
Trip out of Oxnard on the Island Tak with Steve Kelly after a good morning sea bass fishing with SW8030 proved no match. We caught fish up to 40 lbs then we fished calico bass with SW 9015 with 12lb test and a 3/8 owner leadheads. Fishing with was just outstanding with triple limit type fishing. The rod just preformed beautiful with long casts great sensitivity and power to get the bigs ones out of cover.

San Diego Long Range Fishing | Blackrock Tackle Gets Bluefin Catch
Chartermaster Dan Kadota described the trip: "We spent two and a half days on the bluefin,” he told dock reporter Bill Roecker. “We got near-limits on the tuna. They were mostly breezers, hard to spot in the windy weather, but the boys up top did the job.
“The tuna were mostly 25 to 40 pounds,” continued Kadota. “Then we went to Cedros Island to get out of the wind and catch a bunch of yellowtail. We were also sponsored by Tady, and we used a lot of their jigs at the island, and by Gamakatsu hooks. I really liked those, especially with the solid rings.”
Rick Kramer of Oxnard won first place for a 60-pound bluefin. He got it with a sardine on a 3/0 Mustad J hook. He said he used 30-pound Blackwater fluorocarbon and 60-pound Izorline spectra on an Avet LX reel and a Blackrock Tackle Kadota Series rod, a 7650.
Jeff Sakuda of Montebello won second place for a 51-pound bluefin, and Chris Demcak of San Diego took third place for a 48-pound tuna. Kevin Presmyk of Camp Verde, AZ stood in with the group for his honorable mention bluefin of 61.4 pounds.
